I have to say that reading has always been one of my passions. I love reading all sorts of stuff, from fiction novels, autobiographies, historic documents, classical literature, blog posts, scientific articles, academic works even organisational reports, you name it. I have long aspired to write a novel also, but time never seems to add up. That is one of the reasons I have decide to downsize and write a blog instead, that way I can rumble on a new topic each time and not have to commit to a long, sequenced narrative. I have discovered through experience that what I find most enjoyable about reading is the prospect of telling somebody about it, sharing or applying it.Whenever I read something and decide to keep it to myself, I lose it, poof! it goes and I don´t remember it. I enjoyed literature classes when I was in school because there were always tests that would follow afterwards. That must explain why I still remember the long speeches in The Merchant of Venice or the slogans of the bleeting sleep in Animal Farm. To make a long story short, In this section of my blog, I will do just that which I like the most, tell you about what I have been recently reading and give a sort of review of it. Observe however a disclaimer that by reading , I include also listening to audio books. My lifestyle has favoured more of the listening form of consuming literature, than actually flipping through pages and reading. I sign off by inviting you to my next book, once I finish it. It is called Stockholm Confidential. Feel free to join in on the next series of reads and let's make it a discussion, maybe you can recommend a good book for me.
